I spotted a few days ago, just pink discharge. Then two days ago it looked like I was starting my period. Bright red and starting to get a flow going. So it was only 22 days after my miscarriage started. Now yesterday and today it was more brown and lighter. I am confused. Was this just leftover from the miscarriage. Or not enough hormones to continue a period? I am going to call the Dr on Monday and figure this out. I am supposed to see him at the end of next week anyway for my one montn "post-partum" checkup. I was upset because I was actually taking ovulation tests this week, just to see if my body did what it was supposed to, for once!

Has this happened to anyone??

I had a m/c on 8/30 and the bleeding stopped 9/9. I began spotting the day before yesterday, so it's only been 12 days since I stopped. My experience with a m/c followed by a natural period is very limited since I was doing fertility treatments with all my other early m/c. I think I'm going to start my period. I took a pregnancy test after I stopped bleeding to see if everything had passed and it took over a week before it was negative. I'm going to my OBGYN on monday and he can double check everything. Right now the spotting is so light that I don't even need a pantyliner and it's all old blood.

you might have only built up a slight lining this cycle. i would recommend temping and count the first sign of red as cycle day one. it might be a good, normal cycle getting started. best of luck!
