Maybe you could plant something?? I planted a tree for Mother's Day last year. It doesn't have to be that big. Even if you live in an apt, you could still plant something small.
I'm sorry. Losing a baby sucks, and I wish none of had to go through it.

I don't know why, but the special dates are hard for me until they are done, and then I feel much better. Making them meaningful in some way really helps me personally. I'm really sorry yours is so close to mother's day! I will keep you and Dot in my thoughts! (((Hugs)))

I'm sorry to hear your anniversary is looming, and just sorry to hear you had to go through a loss. I can't offer much advice because my one-year anniversary of my loss is also coming up (May 22nd).

I plan on spending time with my husband thinking about our son. For my due date, I wrote a letter to my baby expressing my love and how sad I was. I always have this letter to look back on. You may want to do something like that. It really helped me.

Not sure if this applies, but one thing I dread is church on Mother's Day. I plan on attending Sat. evening service. I have learned it is best to remove myself from painful situations...without feeling guilty.

You are in my thoughts.
