1 yr ago today life as i knew it ended....in a horrible way. two tiny, perfect little girls were born into this world....much too soon. i will never in my life understand why something so terrible happened to me...to them...to any of us. i cant believe a year has passed already.

It really is unbelievable the way time passes after such a tragedy. The first six months to me felt like a hundred years. By the birthday, I felt like an old woman, way too wise about certain terrible things in the world. At the same time, a lot of healing had taken place, and I was able to have some good days along with the bad. I wish you many good days in the year to come, but of course we both know that there will be the other days as well. Your girls are too precious to forget about and leave in the past, even if it were possible for your heart to do so. Happy Birthday to Marissa and Gabriella, and best wishes to the rest of the family (especially you, Mom) getting by without them here.

Becky, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss last year. I sent you presents for your girls, a sun and moon...that way whenever you look to the sky, on of your daughters will always be looking back! Congrats on your new pregnancy...Your son will be so blessed to have 2 older angel sisters ALWAYS to look out for him...God Bless!
