My sister in law lives in Hawaii and babysits for one of her employers. Her employer has two children a 10mo. girl/ and 3 yo boy. They were watching t.v. and the little boy stood up, using the entertainment center to pull himself up and the t.v. fell on the little girl killing her instantly.
OMG~how horrible. It surely wakes me up as my son has many times knocked the tv off his entertainment center. I will be praying for that family and your SIL. ((Hugs))
What a nightmare for that family, and your SIL!!! It makes me want to throw out my own television!! How is your SIL holding up? She must be out of her mind by now. I know I would be. I pray God brings peace to their hearts.

Well, if I were here, I'd be worried about criminal charges or lawsuits -- I'm not a lawyer, but I'd say that there are probably grounds for negligence or endangerment charges here. I'd be looking into getting a good attorney.
That said, I'm very sorry it happened. I hope it turns out okay (or as okay as a horrible situation like this can turn out).

OMG life is so strange sometimes! I hope your SIL is holding up. I think they should get counsling for the little guy, he might need it now so he'll cope better in the future.

Thank you for your prayers - I have not talked with my SIL today because of the time difference. I am asking everybody I know to pray for her and the family. I should have said that the father was watching the kids at the time - but didn't. SIL was at work with her employer, her friend.
Please pray for the brother that people remind him constantly of this.
Thank you Lord for my friends here who will share in prayer with me.
I am so sorry to hear that, it is a horrible accident, something that wouldn't of been expected to happen. My thoughts are with you and you family, and the childs family. It is a great loss, and I hope things turn out to be ok, granted that would not make things change on to what have happened, but hopefully other actions do not start because of it.

Wow how sad! I know how quick things happen. My son is 2 and has had stitches twice. He is just one of those kids. I hope your SIL's employer can find a way to make it through this.

Oh my God, bless her little heart. I am saying a prayer for the baby, the family and your SIL. This really is a safety wake up call--so many things we take for granted as being safe. And surely your SIL felt the same way as we all do.
