You only have one more year of high school I say stick it out or you might end up regretting it later in life.

I would also advise trying to stick it out.

However, my best friend grew up with chronic health problems and I saw what it did to her schooling. She was lucky enough that our school system didn't care if she was constantly absent or didn't do the work. But all that aside, I can probably understand how you feel.

Homeschooling is a great option if the problem is just being there. There are a lot of ways to do it, even with online programs.

You could also try to get your GED, all it would require is taking the test and you would have the equivalent of a high school diploma, early. I knew a few people who did that in their senior year because they just couldn't stand high school anymore!

Have you talked to a guidance councillor or someone about how to manage your schooling with everything else? You might want to try doing correpondence or online courses while you deal with your health problems. If you decide to take time off - Just don't leave school too long. I don't know anyone who has dropped out - "just for a little while!" - and actually gone back.
