Exclamation Is 160 too high for non-fasting?

I have not been diagnosed with diabetes, butthe last 3-4 weeks I have been really tired and just feel week and sometimes sweaty. The other day at work, I was craving Mt. Dew(I never usually drink it) and I drank 1/2 can and started to feel so weak, I wanted to drop to the floor. Out of curiosity, I checked my blood sugar (we had a glucometer at work) and my sugar was 160. The next day I checked it when I got there and it was 155, I had a sandwich about an hour before. Do you think these are too high for non-fasting sugars? I am starting to think that might be why I have been so tired and weak. I am even on Glucophage 2000mg every day right now. How did you guys feel physically when you were diagnosed?

I think I would talk to your doctor, it seems a bit high to me. 100 is borderline for fasting .. I could be wrong, but blood sugar/insulin does crazy things to your body. I am almost certain that is why your feeling this way. How long have you been on the Met?

Wait 2 hours after eating or drinking anything before testing. It should be below 140 after 2 hours, below 120 after 3 hours.
