Exclamation 17 years old, and scared.

i'm 17 years old, about 5'1", around 170-180 pounds, i'm pale, and i'm hairy. a few months ago i had a pylinodal cyst removed. i already had that surgery done once, but had to have it done again due to the hair being deeper inside me.

i got my period in 5th grade, and they started out perfectly normal. it seemed like as i got older, they started becoming more irregular. well, i haven't had my period in 7 months. i haven't had one since november, and i'm freaking out about it.

i had a papsmear done last year to test for cancer, pcos, etc and all the tests came back negative. i was discouraged because i thought for sure i had pcos. the thing is, the doctor was going to check my ovaries, which required him to stick his fingers in my..you know.

i'm a total 100% virgin, and he didn't even get in there a little bit and i told him to stop. it was so uncomfortable, especially since i've never done anything in my life.

i called my doctor and had him refer me to a gyn doctor, and my appointment is on august 20th. i'm not sure how i'm going to make myself comfortable, because i sure as hell don't plan on losing my virginity before then.

oh, and you all know that yellow gooey discharge stuff you get when you're on your period? i have it ALL THE TIME. sometimes in little amounts, sometimes larger.

does this sound like pcos to you all? i'm anxious for advice. i've posted at other boards and haven't gotten any replies!!!

Huh. That sounds a lot like what I went through with PCOS. In my case, I didn't have a period for about five months, and then when I did get it I bled for over a month.

Perhaps the tests came back as a false negative? I'm not a doctor by any means, so take my words with a huge grain of salt.

First off, don't worry about it so much. When you go in, try to be calm and relaxed. If they end up having to go where the sun don't shine (which is probable), tense= (more) pain. It'll smart regardless, but it'll be over quickly. Share your concerns about it with the doctor. A gyn especially will be used to things like this and try to make it go as smoothly as possible.
