 No tests...

No, he didn't do any special tests before putting me on Gluc. We check my thyroid often just to make sure that is not acting up. I told him how irregular my periods were (haven't had one since Jan '03) and he said immediately that it was PCOS. I thought it was odd since I don't have any of the other symptoms (overweight, excess hair...) He said he would put me on Gluc right away when we were ready for #2. I'll probably start it next month if I can get my weight up.
Just a question? Am I ever ovulating if I don't have a period? If not, I may be in for a long run. I haven't had a visit from AF in months. My RE said we can try Clomid if the Gluc doesn't work so well this time. I hope it does. Gluc had some pretty nasty side effects (diarrhea), but I heard Clomid can cause havoc with you emotions.
