 Not sure which board I should be on....
We lost our darling Ellie last week. She was born at 27wks due to pre-eclampsia and was just 1lb 4oz at birth. Our lovely little girl had Down syndrome, but did really well, not needing ventilation, until she became ill last week. She fought really hard, but couldn't get better and we lost her when she was just 27 days old. Her funeral is tomorrow, and we do not know how we are going to cope with it. We have seen her at the funeral home and we dressed her ourselves, but it is going to be just horrible seeing her little coffin. We have planned a beautiful service for her, and just her closest family will be there, but it is going to be so hard to say goodbye. We know we were lucky to have known her, but it just wasn't long enough.....
