Thanks for this excellent article, Linda. In my reading on the subject I have found a lot of factors can contribute to elevated liver enzymes: Common medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (Acetaminophen/Tylenol) , antibiotics (tetracycline), anti-epileptic drugs, cholesterol medications and anti-tuberculosis drugs. Gallbladder issues can also be refelected in high enzymes. So it's something that always needs thorough investigation.
