In my reading on the subject I have found a lot of factors can contribute to elevated liver enzymes: Common medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (Acetaminophen/Tylenol) , antibiotics (tetracycline), anti-epileptic drugs, cholesterol medications and anti-tuberculosis drugs.
