Hi Ladies,
I just came back from my dermatologist who prescribed Dynacin, an antibiotic to treat the sudden flareups of acne on my chest and back. I found out later today that antibiotics my lessen the effect of bcps. He knows that I am on the bcp Mircette and still prescribed Dynacin. Any of you ladies on bcps and antibiotics at the same time? I wrote my doctor to ask him about this and he just replied saying that the risks are minimal. Do any of you have any experience with this. I've seen this mentioned somewhere on the board but because I was not concerned with it at that time I don't remember what it said and now I can't find it. Thanks in advance for you suggestions.
