Family Situation: Married to Denis for 18 months, we're both Irish and moved to the UK in October 2002
PCOS Symptoms: Weight, excess hair, absent periods, fatigue/brain fog
Worst thing about PCOS: For me, at the moment, its the inability to conceive
Medication: 1000mg of Glucophage since February, although I'm hoping to increase it to 1500mg because there's been no obvious improvements so far
NHS or Private: Mixture of both
Action taken against PCOS: Weight loss by eating healthily, with emphasis on low carb, low fat. Exercise - Gym & Swim 3 times a week (about as much as I can handle!!!). Try to keep positive and arm myself with knowledge.
