Estrogen fluctuates throughout your menstrual cycle too. I usually alternate my dosage during my cycle because I am a little hypo during my luteal phase (after ovulation before period starts) and a little hyper during my follicular phase (when period starts and before ovulation).

I can do this because my medication contains T3, which is fast acting. With T4 it takes a week or more to see results with dosage changes so it isn't recommended to alternate dosages.
