Lightbulb Hypothyroidism vs. Hashimoto's..What's the difference?
I just went to a new endocrinologist on Friday who said that he suspects that I may have Hashimoto's. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was 9 and no mention has ever been made of Hashimoto's. The only difference I can seem to find is that with Hashimoto's you can have a goiter. Is this true? I have never had a goiter but I have all the other symptoms. My thyroid has also never been really stable which he says is a little uncommon but not unheard of with Hashimoto's. Can anyone tell me the difference?
