I have seen a lot of questions like this lately:
'Met and HSG test
I read on one site that you should be off of Met for a few days before the HSG test, but my doc said I could stay on it. Has anyone stayed or gone off it for the test?'
I thought that maybe you might want to put the answer in the FAQ's.
My pharmacist called the makers and they told him that if it is a IV dye then you need to stop the night before and wait two days after to start again. But HSG is not an IV dye, so there is no need to stop it.
