It might mean "underminning". I have had that done 2 times, plus afterwards dermasanding. The doctor takes a needle and kind of uncriss-crossing the scar tissue. It ain't pleasant, but can be endured when you have enough drugs in ya (like valium).
My doctor recommended one more underminning to me but I am putting it off right now.
My scars are STILL THERE after 2 procedures however they are a lot less. Mine were pretty severe. Some think I should get more work done on them but I live in California where everyone must look perfect to look beautiful.
(BTW, the scars do not show up in most photos. They are more noticeable in person).
