Wow, the information provided by Christy was awesome. I have hope now. I definitely will stick with the meds and monitor my progress. I would love to be another success story like Christy. After 10 years of juggling physicians, I have finally found one that prescribed Glucophage/Meformin for me. I have been taking it since late July. Now that I know it has worked for others. I will make sure I take it when I should. At first I was skeptical.
I definitely have the symptons of PCOS:
Irregular/None menstrual cycles
Thinning of hair in crown
Adult acne
Weight gain (13 pounds since May)
I am so glad to know I have other women to chat with. It gets lonely thinking.... Does anyone understand my pain? |
