I had cystic acne on my cheek a few years ago. It was on the right, then the left, like it was marching or something, lol. Left, right, left, right, left. I started wearing my hair on my face, which didn't help, but covered it. To go from never having a pimple as a teen.......to THIS? Something isn't right in the world.
Anyway, my friend told me to try the Acne Wash & gave me a little of her Retin-A & some Clindamycin pads. It helped, but too harsh. I toned it down to the creamy Acne Wash & got an RX for BenzaClin, which helped greatly. I use Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask also & drink plenty of water. Thank God, it went away & I hope they stay in pimple heaven. I've been fine for over a year now. *Knocks wood*
Now, I have to deal with razor bumps on my chin. Salicylic acid seems to aggravate it. I cover it up & a few (RUDE) people I know ask what happened. I just say it's broken out.
I hate not being able to confidently look in people's faces when I talk though.
*Sigh* I will think positive. I will get there. Someday.
I call it the "Catch 22" disease. |
