Had a cousin grow up Ned Stanislaw West (Stanislaw is his mother's maiden name) and He loved it!
I personally think it would be a great thing if your DH's brother and him are really that close.
Besides.. think of what it would be like if this turns into a special Uncle/Nephew bond...
