IMO i would go with whichever you like better, since it is something your husband really wants, and also a middle name is not really a big deal (imo) i know to some more than others but most people dont use their middle names for much anyway right? like my middle name is katherine but most people dont even know that! u know?? its totally up to you to decide though, im sure you will work out a compromise, how about living with it for a while and perhaps it will grow on you, i think a last name for a middle name is kinda cute anyway!
about the 2 middle names... well perhaps my daughters name will put it in perspective for you:
Hana bint Hani muhammad hassan alagbaree
and my cousins name:
Hinekatorangi aniwaniwa ataahua atawhetu puke riki
*giggle*
