I went to the dermatologist because I had been using perscription face wash and creams for my acne and wanted to make sure that they were pregnancy safe, which they were not. she prescribed a topical erythromycin gel that I don't like, and told me that the only over-the-counter meds that are safe during pregnancy is salicylic acid. no benzoyl peroxide, no sulfur. so, I used to use neutrogena, but wanted to try something new and bought this Oil of Olay Clarity face wash. I just started using it, but it seems to work pretty well. it's mild enough to use a couple of times a day, but seems to calm the breakouts. I'm also using Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin, and oil-free toner. the combination of these 3 things seems to be working so far. I'm not on fertility meds yet though, so I'm not sure how it will work once I start. I actualy have an appointment with my gyno today! |
