I first heard about Bare Escentuals on this very thread and was intrigued, and so I went to the website and paid $60 for the starter kit. When I first opened it, I was so disappointed. No way those two tiny little containers were going to cover my redness and discoloration for two months. I was sure I'd be returning it the next day. BUT, I am happy to say that I was totally wrong.

I started following the instructional dvd (I've never seen the demo on the infomercial,) and when I first brushed that stuff over my chin, it was like I'd buffed out the red in PhotoShop! I got SO excited, I ran to show DF how amazing it was. (He wasn't nearly as impressed.) By the time I finished following the demo, for the first time in my life I looked like I had flawless, radiant skin! Foundation has never matched my skin tone before, but this looked perfect, and I could barely feel it on my face. The "warmth" is awesome and looks so natural. And a little goes a LOOOONG way. I've had it for nearly two months and I'm not even finished with one jar. TOTALLY worth every penny.

I'm trying to sell my mom on the stuff right now. (Not literally "sell." I don't sell it.) She and I both have rosacea and have searched for years to find good make-up. I've sent her pictures of face close-ups and she's really impressed.

I would strongly recommend it to anyone. But I second the previous suggestion to go one shade lighter than you think you need.
