I'm convinced that there is something to what my endo speculates; that one day they will link pcos and all this other stuff to a larger autoimmune disorder. I've just seen too much with people being diagnosed with one and then it landslides into many other things.

To me, I think we need more research, not just into treating pcos, but autoimmune disorders in general. I know when I was diagnosed with pco, I did a heck of a lot of reading about pcos and how to treat it in various ways. Now I'm trying to incorporate more of the autoimmune aspects as well to see if I can maintain a better quality of life in general.

But what worries me is that there seems to be this focus on treating just certain symptoms, and not the whole picture.
