I really think think PCOS has an autoimmune component. I have two other autoimmune diseases (Celiac Sprue and Graves' Disease). There are so many cysters with autoimmune disease--it seems disproportionate. In addition, autoimmune diseases cluster together. More research is needed on autoimmune disease and PCOS. |
