I read that somewhere it said to try to take something other than tylenol when using Metformin...can't quite remember exactly. I have taken it while on met and it hasn't seemed to hurt me...or not that I can notice anyway. I think it may have to do with putting extra stresses on you liver. Like you can't take Metformin if you have a low functioning liver because it can be hard on your liver and I think that tylenol has something in it that if you take too much it can damage your liver. (Completely winging it here though).
Maybe someone else will have a real answer.......maybe not.....
