Yes, I believe that the liver can be enlarged due to fatty infiltration. I believe mine is slightly enlarged. I just completed some labs to follow up on the fatty liver. I think he did a hepatitis screen, ANA, and mitochondrial something or other. They all came back clear. My enzymes are normal. My gastro is not concerned, but said we should just check everything with some labs annually.

Now, I'm not sure if it's a problem if the liver is very enlarged. They may wind up having to do a biopsy on you depending on what the u/s shows.
