Hi there,

PCOS shouldn't affect whether you can get insurance or not.
BUT....Health conditions RELATED to PCOS can.

If you have a history of heart disease, high cholesteral, triglicerites, high blood presure, stoke or heart attack, these factors are what he will be looking for.

Is there a way to avoid sharing your total medical record? Or do you have to disclose everything you have ever been treated for(even yeast infections)?

Find out if he has a questionair with specific issues he would look for.
Then only release those. I have things in my record that I would not think would pertain to getting insurance and I sure don't need just anyone knowing about it.(I was a rape victim)

I guess I am leary of anyone who wants too much info.

Good Luck,

Patty

BTW>>>They can "file" any information you give them. So if they pulled up you had a STD 10 years ago, that will be forever in your "file". FYI
