I had mine done about 10 years ago - and OMG!!! Life is so much better since I've had the dang thing out. I had the lap - while in recovery I had 1 shot of morphine - after that I didn't have anything for pain. I was much better within a week - but stayed home for 2 (just cuz I could). My sister had hers out while my niece was just a few weeks old - and she bounced back pretty quick also.
Everyone heals and deals with pain different - but I couldn't imagine if I still had to live with those attacks. Good luck to you!!!
