i had mine when i was 19 so i don't know if that's why i had such an easy recovery or not. but they did mine laproscopic and i was out the next day and back at work after they took my staples out like a week later. i was up walking around right after i got out of recovery and they tripped out how well i was doing. but once again i think it was cuz i was so young. but if you're concerned why don't you ask your surgeon who is gonna do the surgery. he should be able to answer all of your questions...
