I was put on the pill when I was 16 because of irregular periods. I was on it until I got pregnant when I was 25. I had my children and three years ago, I got my tubes tied. Now no pill and no pregnancy hormones.

PCOS raged (I never knew I had it), and I just finally got diagnosed today, I am 34. All my tests are fine. No problems with glucose, insulin, cholesterol, thyroid, nothing. BUT, she said my ratio (I am sure you know more than me on this, and know what I am talking about. ) is 4:1, that is why she said I have PCOS.

What did she prescribe? The pill. So now I am 34, with my tubes tied, about to go back on the pill. I have always had good luck with the pills I have been on. I was on Ortho Novum way back in the day, and then I went on Ortho Tri Cyclen for my acne. It worked wonders!! But this time around she wants me on Mircette. She said Ortho Tri Cyclin makes people too moody, I liked it, had no problems.

So I am not sure what I am going to do. I definately want the hair to stop falling out. It is making me cry. And I had no hair loss on the pill.
