Hi Mark: I know Cathy and that she's doing Repronex which is one of the most irritating of the fertility drugs. It leaves a swollen sore spot on the skin for weeks sometimes. Ice packs & Tylenol were my only relief from the after effects of the injections. I was told by my Doc once (when I was doing twice daily heparin shots to prevent blood clots while pregnant), that pressing down on the injection site (hard) with your hand can help prevent later swelling and bruising - he said to hold it down for a few minutes. I didn't do this with my Repronex, but will try as I'll be doing major doses of Repronex starting next week with my IVF cycle - twice daily at 225IU per shot for about 10 days. The things we do to try to conceive. It not fair, but the end result is so wonderful. All the best to you guys and we are praying that this cycle produces a miracle for you both!!
