I had horrible side effects with Met. Throwing up, diarrhea, the whole bit. The worst, though, were the hypoglycemic side effects. I was constantly dizzy (I mean, really dizzy, I felt I was going to pass out constantly). I also was very shaky, and my mind was fuzzy, like when you are REALLY tired. I was sleeping more than I should. Since these are not normal side effects, and are definitely showing your body isn't tolerating the drug well, I discontinued it after only a week and a half. I decided that since I had never really tried to control things naturally (immediately after a diagnosis, I was prescribed the drug, so it was the first thing I tried), I would try diet only. Well, diet solved it all for me, I now still have things very much under control with diet only.
