AND, if you scroll all the way down, there is usually a pretty comprehensive (or at least quasi-helpful) set of links to more detailed resources.
http://www.nami.org/Content/ContentG...e_Programs.htm this has links to prescription drug assistance programs. it is indexed both by drug name and by drug company. check out the links way at the bottom for links to larger rx assistance sites.
http://depression.about.com/ this is a typical about.com site. lots of articles on a variety of topics. not always in-depth information, but can provide a starting point.
http://www.dbsalliance.org/ depression and bipolar support group site. has info and links to find local support in your area.

http://www.fpnotebook.com/PSYCh5.htm this is more healthcare practictioner-oriented, but has some good info in outline form. clicking the links will take you to even more information, probsbly more than what you wanted to know. i di find the medication evaluations helpful- they give information on dosage, side effects, cost, etc.
www.emedicine.com i personally like this site. you do need to register to obtain access to the articles, but is has detailed and in-depth information on all kinds of illness and medications.
