 Newly on Prometrium
I started taking Prometrium last month. The reason the doctor gave it to me is because I had spotted basically for about 6 months straight. The Prometrium made me stop bleeding for a change. Of course, taking it for 10 days, on the 12th day, I started again and on days 3-5 I wasn't sure if there would be anything left in me. I had the heaviest flow I have ever had, even during the night. I had to get up every hour to 2 hours on day 3. It was horrible. The doctor told me to expect heavy flow and heavy cramps. I had both. If I remember correctly, some time ago, I was given Provera to help me start a period because I hadn't had one in a long time. If your Prometrium doesn't work this month, I would ask about the differences between the two and if the Provera might work for you. |
