If you want an epidural, get one. If you don't, don't. If you said you wouldn't get one, and you do, so what? You are not a failure if you need an epi. My mom shamed me for having one. I told her that she could go to hell because I was in pain and I wanted the epi. She shut up. It was great!
Stitches hurt! Take the pain meds they give you, even if you bf.
BF'ing is hard! If you can't, it's okay.
If you don't understand what the doc is telling you to do, ask questions! Ask why. Ask what the alternative treatments are.
It's okay to wear maternity pants for weeks and weeks after birth. My belly didn't go down for a long time.
