i'm going to be refering to it all the time in a few weeks.

i could not agree with what you said more. i had lunch with a friend who had a baby two years ago and she was sharing some things with me that she said noone ever told her. we were talking about how people often skip over any part of childbirth that is not rosy and delightful and only tell us the good parts. but it's the less than wonderful things that we really need to hear from other women.

anyway, what she told me was to expect to see lots of bleeding in the hours after delivery and to also expect to see some pretty big clots.
