I'm 5'9 and 130 lbs. I was diagnosed about two weeks ago. Over the last 2 years I lost 20 lbs via a generally low carb diet. I just do carbs for breakfast with fruit shakes and organic, no sugar added cereals. I started doing this diet because years ago I had systemic candida and only a strict no carb diet for long helped me with that issue. I haven't read any of the PCOS specific diets, but I imagine the Candida diet is likely similar.
For me, belly dance, yoga and stress help keep my weight within what I consider normal limits. I think I can burn 5 lbs just being annoyed with work deadlines.
