I was just diagnosed with PCOS one week ago, I have never had regular periods and would go 7-8 months at a time without getting one. Low and behold I DID get pregnant with my DD , who is now almost 8 months old.
Well after I had her I was sick of not knowing what was wrong with me, and they finally did an ultrasound and found the cysts on my ovaries.
They put me on Yasmin BC and told me not to worry that this is a very common syndrome. She said if I carried a baby once, I can do it again...

My question is...when I want to TTC what will they do for me?? She said there are plenty of medications out there to help me get pregnant ..then she sent me on my way. I know I should of asked more, but I think I was in shock..I had read about PCOS before when I was trying to self diagnose myself. It doesnt sound very nice, and my gyno was so lax about it.

I do want more babies, dont get me wrong I am very very blessed to have had my DD after 4 yrs of TTC...but knowing now that it could be very hard to have another and even miscarrying...it scares me!! And will they put me on medication as soon as I want to TTC, or will they see if I can do it on my own?? I have another Appt in one month to see if the bC is agreeing with me..So i guess I will ask more then.
