Gosh, I know how you feel. I'm sorry you are having to tolerate the pain :o( I have endo too, and I'm constantly bloated and in pain all around, generally. I can't answer your question specifically, but it makes sense to me. Hot baths don't work at all either for me, it just distracts me from the pain for a few minutes. Pain killers don't touch it either.
I've heard of an ovary being "dead", if it's covered in scar tissue and completly eaten by endo. Does you doc know the extent of the endo? I know you had ovarian drilling done, but maybe he missed seeing where other endo is located if he didn't get a good look around at the entire area. I thought endo in the abdomen (upper) was pretty rare, but there are the few cases and maybe you are one of those cases. Also, did he remove all of the endo he saw?
Perhaps you can take another course of action to shrink the endo, like the homrone therapy treatments....It's sad there isn't a real cure for this. There's only a few options.
