I wanted to welcome you and say HI!

Also, what LadyBlue said is so very true. This disorder effects more than just your cycle. It has a lot to do with hormone levels and causes other symptoms besides irregular periods or cystic ovaries. You would defiantly want tests run to check your hormone levels. Your gyno doesn't seam to know a whole lot about this since she just gave you bcp and didn't give you any other information. I would suggest trying an endocrinologist. That was the best thing I ever done.
