I had a dr's appt this afternoon to meet with my family doctor about the possibility of having PCOS. I was soooo scared that I was going to ask her a question about it and she was going to say "PC what??" BUT to my amazement, i said "Do you know about PCOS?" and she says yes and proceeds to start telling me some of the symptoms, and of course all that she said I had, but I asked about a few more things. She gave me a RX for blood work, and I am suppose to get that done in the AM or Thursday morning. She was VERY surprised at how much I knew about it, and I credited this website and told her about it. CAN you believe it?? A Family Dr that knew about PCOS.......and she SAYS that most ob/gyns don't pay attention to it, or just give the bc which is not the right treatment. I AM SOOOOOOOOO excited to have a dr that knows about this and is ready to test and treat me. Well I have to go get the kids out of the tub, I just wanted to share my excitement with all of you!!!
