So I'm not really a newbie, maybe a denial-ie. Warning...will be long
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 1995 (I was 16) via laparoscopy. I was put on the pill. Then in 2002ish I decided to stop taking the pill and see if things would be normal...I had pretty normal periods...more pain than usual, but normal. So I went to a new ob/gyn and told him my history of PCOS and my concern about getting endometriosis (
every woman on my mom's side had it) So he says that I probably out grew the PCOS and after my exam he said that I did not have endo. Well, in 2004 I had another lap (w/ another ob/gyn) and I had lots of endo, and no cysts. By that point I had been on hormonal BC since 1995 with maybe 8-9 months total off.
So long story short....Can you "grow out" of PCOS or are you stuck with it forever?

TIA!
If I'm stuck, that means I have PCOS, endo, autoimmune thyroiditis...I'll never get pregnant!!!
