I'm new, too, but from my understanding, yes, we are unfortunately stuck with it for life. However, I'm learning there are MANY things we can do to manage symptoms and keep it all in check.

My gyno is AWESOME and she said whenever I"m ready to get pregnant, she can make it happen, even with my DH's "male factor."

There is PLENTY of hope, you just have to take good care of yourself and know there IS a light at the end of the tunnel! I'm just now learning to take care of myself (after 25 years) and it's difficult... We all understand what you're feeling!
