I tried Pro active twice. I've always had acne since I started high school. It didn't work both times. I'm currently paying for chemical peels, but since my acne is worse than my sisters, I might give her the rest of my peels. I'm going to see a dermatologist next week and maybe be put on Accutane. I know, that is the last resort for many people with acne, but I know it does wonders. Plus, to use accutane, u need to be on birth control. Since I have PCOS and am using BCP's already, why not?
for those of you that use pro active and have had success, LUCKIES! i've used so much money on different products from cheap cleaners from beauty stores, to $50 soaps. if proactive is not working for you, i suggest a dermatologist. |
