Talking Howdy! THANKS SO MUCH LADIES!

Hey Ladies!
This is my first post. I've been lurking for 4 months. I want to thank ya'll so much. You guys have keet me going. This is my PCOS life-story. I started menustating when I was a 10 yr-old.(24 day cylces)( I started wearing a bra when I was 9.) By the time I was 12 I looked like a full grown woman from the kneck down. At 13 I was at my adult height (5'4) and my measurements were 36' 24' 36'. I started really putting on weight when I was 15, by the time I was 17 I had ballooned up to 210 lbs. But I maintained my weight until I was 19 1/2 and then I put on 60 lbs in 3 months. My periods stopped being clockwork and they continued to worsen until when I was 23. At that point I started spotting between periods (274 LBS) and started to experience a lot of cramping and the actual flows were crazy heavy. I went to the Dr. he diagnosed PCOS and put me on Yasmin, I took it for about a year. I went off of it and ever since then I had clockwork 28 day cylces. Currently I'm off all medication except for BP pills (stoke level BP, if I don't take it). My OTHER PCOS characteristics include, morbid obeisty, icredably large fat "sack" on lower abdomen, the worse case of Nicotarsis (sp?) my Dr has ever seen, receding hair line, IR, skin tags. I do ovulate but not very well. My DR. said I have a small uterus, I don't know what that means.

Because of our disease I feel very isolated and alone. It doesn't help that I'm in a male-dominated line of work (I'm a lab tech in a chemical plant), by the end of many days I feel like I've been put through the wringer emotionally. This is an awesome site. You guys keep me going.
