That is what they told me too and I strongly advise it to be on the safe side. Many people told me that all they had was mild cramping, unfortunately for me, mine was severe and quite painful. The good news is: whether mild or really bad it is a fairly quick procedure. I bled for a little while afterwards but the cramping and was isolated just to the procedure and didn't really last afterwards. Your doc will also probably tell you no intercourse for a couple of days as well. You are just a little younger than I was when I had my first biopsy. (I am 32 now.) I'm sure that your doctor is just being cautious and thorough, which is a good thing. I had too many doctors for too many years tell me that all my problems were because I was athletic or had too much stress. Anyway, I'm sure everything will be okay! - Kim |
