Question PCOS, Pre-Mature Births & Breastfeeding?

Does anyone know if PCOS is linked to Pre-Mature Births? My daughter was born 6 wks early...I was transferred to a different hospital and so my OB never delt with the birth. At a follow up appt she said I have no idea how my baby could've been so early, she didn't see anything warning her of this during my exams before that. However, I was to my regular Dr. (who does Obstetrics too) and had indicated I had PCOS and he said, "oh, no wonder your little one was so early". I was surprised to hear that...if that's the case I'm surprised why my OB never mentioned it during my pregnancy.

Is PCOS also linked to LOW milk supply...I had that problem with breastfeeding...I had to stop (after five months) because it was driving me crazy and I was getting no suggestions from my OB.

I'm thinking I need to switch my OB stuff to my regular dr. since he does do obstetrics too and seems to know about PCOS. But I just need to know if these are related to PCOS. Thank you for your time.
