Interesting! I guess my response to that is, I thank God every day that someone found that met does help those with PCOS. Some of the most incredible advances in medicine are those that happened by accident, or just by someone saying let's just try this. The thing that scares me more is those who unfortunately cannot get met from their docs for one reason or another, and they resort to getting it online from elsewhere. I'm always fearful that they may get ripped off, or not get the drug they are really paying for, and they are not getting adequate medical testing done to be sure it's safe for them to be taking it. It is unfortunate but some docs just are not up to date on all the latest stuff. Actually, I think there were studies done as far back as 1979, that found that met did help with PCOS. One thing to keep in mind, girls...when you read a study, take it with a grain of salt. They can manipulate data to say whatever they want it to say, and sometimes, it's even interesting to see who funded the study! Thanks for posting this one, caramia!
