I too am in the denial stage. I was off met for 3 years. I lost 90 lbs. so my Dr. took me off met after the weight loss. In the last year I've gained about 35 lbs. back so I'm trying to get started again. Today will be my 11th attempt. Good luck to you I know how hard it is and how bad the met makes us feel and how depressing the whole situation is. Sometimes it seems so hopeless.
