I have to say I'm so glad I decided to find all of you! I have had facial hair for years, many many years. I had no idea it was treatable until I went to my doc a few months ago...I just thought it was passed from one generation to another and nothing could be done about it. I have been on Spiro and Metformin for about 2 months now...love the results...facial hair is slowing incredibly...I expect to have to pluck but nothing grows back!
I've never had the hair loss...but the facial hair has always been a problem because I am AA and the ingrown hairs and bumps have always embarassed me.
